Tundra comes standard with a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 that puts out 389 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift mode which offers two Tow/Haul driving modes. Tundra offers power and fuel efficiency. (13.5/10.6 L/100 km City/Highway)

Choose i-Force Max hybrid for 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque at just 2,400 rpm.

Suspension

Tundra delivers amazing ride quality combined with exceptional hauling capacity. A double wishbone suspension is up front and a 5-link multi-coil suspension in back. You can also specify an adaptive variable suspension (AVS) to smooth out the ride in all terrains.

Towing

Tundra can tow up to 12,000 pounds with a payload capacity up to 1,940 pounds. Choose from 6 grades and 3 bed lengths to suit your exact needs.

Hitching a trailer and backing it up are a breeze with the Trailer Reverse Guidance with Straight Path Assist feature. Camera views and automatic steering inputs work together to ensure you back up the trailer in a straight line.

Technology

There is a new 12.3” digital instrument cluster which can be customized to show critical information when you need it. There is the Panoramic View Monitor which shows you a top down 360-degree view including the truck bed.

The multi-media system features cloud-based navigation with real time map updates. Tundra also includes a virtual intelligent assistant which understand conversational language. You are in command without taking your hands off the steering wheel.

Safety

Safety Sense 2.5 is standard on all Tundra models. Available on most 4x4 models is Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert. This feature makes backing out of a parking spot much safer.

The system has been enhanced on Tundra. When you have a trailer in tow the blind spot on either side is much larger. Tundra will sense a trailer is connected and adjust the blind spot warning area to compensate for the estimated length of the trailer. Tow with confidence when you choose Tundra.
