Bowmanville, December 24, 2021 – The Clarington East Food Bank is dedicated to helping people in difficult situations. Many are forced to decide between paying rent or buying groceries. Clarington East Food Bank works to make sure no one goes hungry in our community.
During the pandemic, they have seen the need increase by over 20%. Last year, they distributed 43,000 pounds of food to over 170 households. Their services are free of charge which means they count on support from individuals and businesses in the surrounding community.
